Lessons are 55 minutes long, with a 5 minute buffer period for wrap up questions, your child’s Student Log to be updated, and preparations made for the following student. It will also allow me to catch up on any immediate administrative tasks.

Regular Bookings - regular weekly bookings, whether face-to-face or online, are prioritised in order to ensure that your child benefits the most from our tuition sessions. By keeping a tab on what your child is studying at school, and then revising, reviewing, and developing from those topics, I can help your child grow much more confident and skilled.

Holiday Bookings - whether your child is studying in Hong Kong or abroad, you are more than welcome to book lessons with me during the school holidays. These can be face-to-face or online. These intensive study periods mean that we can cover a lot more material much more quickly. The skills and techniques your child learns will be fresh in their minds when they return to school. It's always a pleasure to help students face-to-face when they return to Hong Kong during their breaks but I can also offer online lessons to those who remain abroad. The holiday periods are primarily Autumn half-term, Christmas, Chinese New Year / Spring half-term, Easter, May half-term, and Summer.

Ad Hoc / Waitlist Bookings - sometimes my timetable is very full and unfortunately I'm unable to offer you your desired timeslot. If you would like to be put on the ad hoc list, I will contact you as soon as possible when there are spaces in my timetable. If you require regular tuition, I can put you on the waitlist and contact you as soon as a regular timeslot becomes free.

Marking of work beyond the usual scope of our tutoring lessons or the school’s English lessons (e.g. TOK essays, Extended Essays) will be charged at a pro rata rate.
